This outfit I wore for NYFW was all about movement. I actually started putting together this outfit months ago. I had my eye on this Preen Line skirt. I was enchanted with the mixed plaid, the handkerchief hem and fringe details! It was pricey though, but I kept an eye on it and when it went to 40% off after Memorial Day, I snagged it!  Good thing too … it sold out fast!

Then I looked for all the pieces to put together. The top is INC from Macys, and I ordered the long blue tassel earrings on Etsy.  I thought my Alexander Wang bucket bag fit the vibe just right. I had planned to wear my studded high heel booties, but when I hurt my ankle, I decided to find something kinder to my feet.  I’m loving these Ash combat boots!  Really well made and surprisingly comfortable, these on trend beauties are still on sale and available at Last Call Neiman Marcus. If you’re into the combat boot trend, I’d consider them!
