White Summer Dress + Link Up

Is it just me or is the white summer dress really having a big moment?

I’ve been keeping an eye out for the perfect white summer dress.  Since I’m still looking, I went ahead and created the look here with a few old summer staples, a white gauze skirt and a lacy tank for a fun birthday lunch and shopping last week. Instead of styling it the way I have before with summery sandals, I decided to add some heavier elements with a bit of a western flare.  I added this cool buckle belt that my friend Rachel gave me and pulled out some brown suede booties that I had pushed to the fall/winter corner of my closet.  Not one piece alone makes me think western, but for some reason as a look, it did.  Any thoughts on that?

 You could blame it on my Westworld obsession, but actually western elements are having their moment right now too.
