I really tried to get a good family photo for the blog post today, but between two wiggly dogs and the Mr. I-Hate-Photos hubby, I couldn’t get anything usable. Sigh.  (I will send a bad photo out via my behind the scenes newsletter though … if you haven’t already, sign up. I know, I know … not like you can’t wait to see my bad pics!)

But thankfully you don’t come here for cute family photos, you come here for outfit ideas, and that I have.  Take your holiday velvet and maybe some faux fur and channel your inner glam rock star for a fun post-Xmas look.  I added a chunky silver jewelry and my pink sunglasses for an extra punch.  The raw edgy jeans and suede booties brings the look a little more down-to-earth and wearable. If it’s still a little too extra for you, just try to subtract one or two elements.  I think the jeans with the velvet and some silver chunky jewelry alone would be fabulous!
