Style blogging has been full of wonderful surprises for me. I’ve actually started feeling much better about aging since I started blogging. Why? There are so many middle-aged and senior women out there enjoying their lives and looking so amazing while they’re doing it that I feel totally inspired! Now I know without a doubt that I have decades of fun and fashion left in me!
This link up party is for us over forty gals .. a place to link up and celebrate our mature style, refined by years of trial and error! (Read all about the My Refined Style link up party here.)
I’m really loving all the fall florals out this season, so I thought I’d share this look with you.
I bought this Laundry by Shelli Segal dress on Thred Up. That’s another thing I learned from my fellow style bloggers, to check out consignment and thrift stores! (Browse Thred Up here.)
I paired the dress with some classic pumps and a vintage bag. My jewelry is mostly via Rocksbox (which you can read about here).
I decided that the Fun Fashion Friday link up party will start at 9pm (PT) on the My Refined Style link up Thursday (the first Thursday of the month). Be sure to come back and see which looks from last week will be featured this week!
Let’s start this new over forty party and have some link up fun!
Monthly Fashion Over-40 Linkup.
Women shouldn’t have to follow a set of rules once they reach a certain age. However, the over-40 woman does develop the confidence to refine her own personal style and that’s what My Refined Style is all about!
This monthly Linkup goes live on the first Thursday (12:00am ET) of every month on 7 blogs and runs for one week.
