Exploring Neighborhoods in Montreal & a Fun Fan Tee

August 12, 2019

The chit chat about our trip to Montreal continues with a few snaps from cool neighborhoods we got to explore, as well as this travel outfit-of-the-day.

Schitt's Creek tee, leopard midi skirt, sneakers, denim jacket

Do you know who Johnny, Moira, David, & Alexis are?  Where are my Schitt’s Creek fans?  (If you love quirky humor, it’s a must watch!)

Keep reading to get a glimpse of a few of the Montreal neighborhoods we explored!

Mile End & Le Plateau

Underground Mall & Barbie Exhibit

Did you know that Montreal has a large underground city full of connected malls, office buildings, and metro stations?  We didn’t get to explore much of it, but we did duck into an underground mall.  There I immediately got drawn into the Barbie Exhibit.  I took way too many pics, but I’ll just share the chic Christian Louboutin Barbie .. and then of course the Dawn Lucy Barbie!

So there’s another little snippet from our trip, Friends!

This is the first week of school so I admit I have a brain stuffed full of teacher things right now.  Want to know what I’m wearing on the first day of school? So do I!  I have no idea. Please feel free to make suggestions!

If you missed it, be sure to check out my post about the Thierry Mugler Exhibit in Montreal.

And I hope everyone got to read about my personal celebration with Helzberg Diamonds!

Fun & Fashion,

Dawn Lucy

About the blog: Fashion Should Be Fun is me talking to you, other middle aged women like me who are over 40, but not over fashion.  We still want to look beautiful and stylish.  We still want to have fun with trends.  And we don’t need anyone giving us rules, because we’re all different. We all have own shapes and bodies, parts we’d like to cover and parts we still don’t mind showing off a bit.  This is a place for me to share my love of fashion with you, style ideas, tips, trends, and inspiration. I know how liking the way we look can translate into confidence and energy. I know we have so much life left to live and so much adventure ahead of us. Let’s show the world you’re never too old to have fun and be fierce!

Awesome I love your style and you have inspired me! I am addicted to denim jackets. A denim jacket can turn a boring outfit into an outstanding one. The combination of a denim jacket with a black t-shirt and leopard print skirt is wonderful. Thanks for sharing. https://www.hancockssignetrings.com/pendants/oval-pendant/18ct-yellow-gold-oval-pendant
