Last weekend the weather was so gorgeous here that in a premature burst of spring fever, I put away all my winter coats. Well, this week Mother Nature has something else in mind. It’s chilly and rainy, so out comes the winter gear again!
This pretty cobalt blue coat is from my mom’s closet. I miss her and wearing her things makes me feel close to her. (If you haven’t already, you could check out my post “Remembering My Fashionable Mom” here.)
I’m also wearing my Peter Pilotto for Target floral top that I love! Link here. Hey, I just saw that it’s on clearance! I need to look and see what else is a bargain right now!
Carrying one of my very favorite bags, and if you’re a regular reader, you’ve no doubt seen this purse a lot! It’s London Fog and I got it at Marshall’s.
And God only knows what those crazy dogs are up to in the background!
Also wearing Gap Skinnies, rolled up over black booties.

And here’s a pretty view of my neighborhood. I love mountain living! Especially because the town (and shopping!) is only 10 minutes away!

Nice you wear your mom's coat. I did that with my grandfather's golf cardigans for a long time. Made me feel close to him. Her coat looks good on you and I'm sure she would be be happy knowing you have it and love it too Lovely pics of your home too. x
