Perfect Spring Midi Skirt!
February 20, 2020I found my new favorite skirt! I’ve been looking for a midi skirt that I could use in the capsule wardrobe I’m working on. This one is perfect! Black and white floral, with slight shades of off-white and pale gray, this skirt goes with everything. Plus no slit! Seriously, Ladies, high side slits in midi skirts is the bane of my existence! I will find the perfect skirt, only to find a thigh high slit that makes it work inappropriate. Sigh. Anyway, this skirt has it all!

Sometimes, it’s just the feelings of excitement from designers showing their new collections and the emotional buzz of being with a bunch of people who love fashion as much as you do. Of course, this year I did experience it all from home, but I still felt inspired by many things. This outfit of the day is inspired by a runway look. Wanna guess which one?
It was Gabriela Hearst’s ponchos, midi skirts, and knee high boots that made me swoon! I’d love to have the looks right off the runway, but since my budget won’t allow that right now, I put together an outfit from what I had in my closet already. And I really liked it!

February 12, 2020A Son Jung Wan runway show is always a feast for the senses: the designs, the colors, the silhouettes, the lights, the fun music. It’s a runway that is made for an in-person experience. So it’s bittersweet to bring you my seasonal review this time around having missed seeing the runway show in New York. But it’s still a total thrill to see all the whimsical and amazing looks!
The show started with an ensemble of brilliant emerald green, head-turning looks. Doesn’t this shade look so fresh and pretty right now?!
