One day I was feeling a little grumpy and uninspired, so I thought I’d try something new and put on ALL the prints! Haha …okay, not all, but my three favorite: camo, leopard, and snake. And I’m not to0 mad at how it turned out! It felt cute and different. Different is something I think we’re all craving more of these days, right?

Do you ever dress to cheer yourself up? I know I’m not the only one feeling a bit blue these days. We thought that Covid 19 would be under control somewhat by now and we could go back to doing more things that we love. But instead, things are locking back down and even if they’re not, most of us are being careful. I’m sure it’s a little bit different depending where you are, but here in California our numbers have been looking dismal.
This time last year, life was exciting and busy: a trip to Canada with my husband, lunches and shopping with the girls, evenings of live music, and weekend adventures. I was even planning for New York Fashion Week! And yes, I miss all that, but I also need to remember that back then I often craved a slower paced life. Interesting, right? Again, that ever elusive sense of balance seems to be the key.
Sending big hugs to all my readers. Please take care, stay safe, and have some fun too!

Ha! I love this print mix and match. It definitely says fun! And looks awesome!
I’m in Nevada, and our COVID case numbers are looking bad too. I’m an introvert, so staying at home isn’t difficult for me overall, but yeah, my husband and I missing concerts and seeing our friends.

What a fabulous print mixing! The skirt is gorgeous and it all works perfectly!
This is a really really pretty look. You have mastered print mixing! Yes I feel really low about the world right now. I watched the memorial service of John Lewis today and just cried. But I am optimistic and doing all the self care and chin up things. I am so tempted to cut my hair like yours. But I know it wouldn’t turn out as cute! Peace doll!
