Plaid Shirt-Dress As Coat

January 11, 2016
I thought I’d try wearing my plaid shirt dress as a coat/jacket.
Here’s my original post on this plaid dress.

Outfit details: Plaid dress – Boohoo, purse – Carlos Santana, booties – Adrienne Vittadini, necklace – Chaos NY, Jeans & Tee – Old Navy

Do you ever wear your shirt dresses as coats?  Isn’t it fun to have things in your closet that you can wear many different ways?

Hope everyone has a great start to their week!

That plaid dress looks wonderful worn as a long coat! 🙂 Sadly I don't have many shirt dresses, have never found one that looks right on me, so I can't try this trick, but it looks really good on you! 🙂

Your plaid shirt looks great worn as a coat. Love the colour against the black and denim. You look great!

Love it both ways…my plaid dress (also from boohoo) is most often worn as a coat. A girl's gotta have options!

Thanks for linking up to Top of the World Style. Each time I am really impressed how you find new ways of wearing something in a way that the designer had not in mind when designing the clothes. Great look!

I have a similar plaid dress that I've been wanting to wear as a jacket but it has drawstrings so it looks weird. Love this look on you! Thank you for joining TBT Fashion link up and hope to see you next week.

I have a long length plaid shirt dress that I often wear as a coat. It really lends itself to wearing it that way; in someways more so than a dress! So I love this styling on you. Looks very cool.
