Ever buy something that just ends up staying in your wardrobe forever? For me, that’s this suede moto jacket. Somehow it survives every closet edit year in and year out. It’s been in regular rotation for the last ten years. No really …. 10 years! And if my memory isn’t tricking me, I bought it at Ross for $15!
But it’s still cute, right?!
Outfit details:
Jacket – Paris Blues (Ross)
Jeans – Old Navy
Tshirt – Old Navy
Sneakers – Candies (Kohls)
Scarf – Vintage
Handbag – Carlos Santana
Lucky wouldn’t move, so I just posed over him. I think he’s mesmerized by the beeping timer.
So Dolls, I have some big news. I know some of you enjoy the setting of my photos, but that will all be changing very soon! We’re buying our dream home come true! It even has .. are you ready … a WALK IN CLOSET! Be still my heart!
Hopefully I can keep up on my blog posting and reading during the move but …. oh dear, who am I kidding? Moving is crazy. I’ll be lucky to find matching socks and remember to shower. 😉
Threw on jeans and a sweatshirt this morning for a Starbucks run and some errands with the hubs. Then I decided to spice it up a bit with by adding some cute boots, a camo scarf, and some mixed metal arm candy … and hey … a pretty cute comfy outfit!
It’s amazing what a few accessories can do, right?
I wasn’t sure camo and a gray sweatshirt really worked together, but I think they’re both neutral enough and casual enough to coexist in harmony. And hey, the greenish grey boots seem to be a good link between the two.
Outfit details:
Sweatshirt – J. Crew
Jeans – Always Skinny Gap
Boots – Franco Sarto (DSW)
Scarf – H&M
Bag – Mondani
Earrings – Nordstrom Rack
Bracelets – J. Crew, Jest Jewels, & vintage
We even got enough rain today to pull out this old hooded puffer coat from Old Navy.
We really need the rain in the San Francisco bay area, but we just hope doesn’t interfere with the World Series game tonight.
GO GIANTS!
Looking forward to a cozy night of watching baseball with the guy. Hope all my sweet fabulous dolls are having a nice cozy Saturday too.
This time of the year brings to mind a cozy sweater, a mug of hot coffee, a fireplace, and a good book. The perfect addition to that scenario? The Bookworm reading glasses from Readers.com (shown here in marbled brown)!
The round frames are so on point right now!
As an English teacher, I need reliable chic reading glasses to tackle all those books and essays. I’m loving all the fashion forward choices at Readers.com!
And I can’t resist an oversized chunky knit sweater … or fringe.
And animal rescue is near and dear to my heart. All four of my pets are rescues.
Unfortunately neither dog was feeling in a super model mood for this photo shoot. Lucky looks miserable and Rox just wanted to show off her furry butt.
But in their hearts, I’m sure they’re saying “buy cute rain boots for a good cause!”
Lots of other cool stuff on the website too, by the way!
Okay sure … it’s been in the 80’s here most days, but a girl can dream of fall, right?
When it finally gets a little bit chilly, this is one outfit I’ll be wearing!
Outfit details:
Sweater – Style & Co. (gift)
Vest – Jou Jou (Marshalls)
Jeans – Old Navy Skinny Flirts
Handbag – Carlos Santana
Sunnies – Marc by Marc Jacobs
Boots – Aerosoles
Okay okay, I’ll go put on something weather appropriate now …
Argh.
