Cozy Coffee Look

One of my favorite things to do is to go out for coffee, especially when there are pastries involved.  AND especially when I have time to relax a bit, either chat with a buddy in person or interact on social media with my friends from all over the world!

I made sure to take a little coffee break to myself over my 2 weeks off from teaching.  Here’s what I wore, and even though it’s a great out-to-coffee look, it’s also a perfect casual work look and I’m sure I’ll be wearing this head to toe for teaching one of these cold days (edited to add: wearing it today!).

 

The Outfit

I’ve been in a bit of a neutral mode lately, so I decided to wear this cardigan that I haven’t worn in awhile. I was happy to find it still available online (and for a great price)!  I added a simple V-neck sweater, along with my NYDJs x Chico’s Contour jeans, which are made with plenty of stretch to keep you comfortable and to help give you a smooth silhouette.  This Eileen Fisher scarf is getting to be an absolute favorite. I get compliments whenever I wear it and it’s just so warm and super soft.  This Madewell leather tote bag was a practical choice and I use it all the time.  I’ve decided to just embrace my identity as queen of the tote bag … I’m tired of trying to fit anything into those adorable but teeny bags.  Also wearing my Kendra Scott Elora earrings and one of my favorite lipstick colors Miss Scarlett by Marc Jacobs beauty.
