Fleetwood Mac Concert

November 26, 2014

Any other Fleetwood Mac fans out there? Along with being meaningful music to me throughout the years, I’ve also been influenced by their 70’s boho fashion, especially Stevie Nicks’ dreamy outfits.

Other great boho looks for women over 40: Lightweight Red Poncho, Janis Joplin T-shirt,

… and Summer Style Over 40.

I’ve been so excited to see them in concert!  But life has been so busy that I didn’t have time to shop for a special outfit.  That’s okay … time to shop my closet for a “make it work” moment!

This is what I came up with … a flowly kimono (H&M) with skinny jeans (Gap), knee high black boots (Aerosoles), long silver chain (hand-me-down), and studded clutch (Urban Expressions – Nordstrom Rack).

Doesn’t my guy look great too?
The concert was amazing, of course!
In their 60’s and 70’s and still totally rocking it, proving once again we can be absolutely fabulous at any and every age!
Happy Thanksgiving, sweet readers!
Dawn Lucy

Looking great! Love both the kimono and the studded clutch. As for Fleetwood Mac, I like some of their songs, but am not a big fan, which I think is mostly because the timing was off 😉

Oh I love what you wore to the concert and you and your guy are so good-looking together. Wow, what a great couple! I hope you have a great Thanksgiving and right back at ya with the jewels (I'm thinking of your previous post). I just put up photos of the Tiffany holiday windows in NYC. Have a look and you will know why I have diamonds on the brain! Oh my God! It's so bad! XO, Jill

Happiest of Tday to you, sweet Jill! Maybe Santa will drop some diamonds into our stockings this year? Yeah, not likely for me … pretty new home = pretty big mortgage! Argh. 😉

I love that outfit! The kimono is so fun! Sadly, I've never heard of any of Fleetwood Mac's songs, but you looked great!

Lucky you! I think I would have loved to have seen them in concert. I could wear that whole outfit Stevie is wearing in the first photo. Really it would fit right in in the latest Anthro catalog.

You guys really do look like quite the hip chic couple.

    Happy US Thanksgiving!

I saw Fleetwood Mac a couple of years ago and they were great, but it was extra special this time around to have Christine McVie back in the line up!
