A Rainy Day in Mendocino

On our winter road trip, we spent an evening in Mendocino, an adorable little town right on the Pacific Ocean.

We had planned to sleep in our RV that evening, but the weather was so cold, we decided on a last minute hotel stay instead. The Mendocino Hotel & Garden Suites was a historic and charming place. We even got a room with a view of the ocean!

 

 

 

 

 

 

If you ever go explore Mendocino, I’d totally recommend the pastries from the Garden Bakery and the coffee from the Bay View Coffee Company.  Be sure to stop by the cute grocery and drug store Harvest Market  for lots of organic food options, as well as just fun browsing.  My favorite store in Mendocino was The Study Club. Had I had the shopping budget, I could’ve easily spent a lot of time and money there!  It’s a must visit for luxurious clothing and home goods.
