BA&SH for Spring 25

April 27, 2025

This week I was on spring break, which means this teacher had time to do lots of fun stuff, including hanging out with my former student turned friend in the BA&SH department at Bloomingdale’s in San Jose! If you are in the area, you need to stop by, meet Leslie, and let her style you!

Here are a couple of looks I love:

Shop these looks:

How chic is this pleated skirt and navy cropped jacket? I felt so elegant! I also loved this boho A-line dress. The V-neck is pretty low-cut, so I’m wearing it with a cami. You could always wear the cami when you want to be modest, and leave it for a sexy date night look! And how yummy is this tan suede jacket? Feels AMAZING!

I adore the way Leslie puts things together and it’s nice to try different looks, silhouettes, and stylings!

Shop these Looks:

This khaki green Matsa midi dress couldn’t be more flattering. And how about those BA&SH suede Western-vibe booties? Love the pretty floral blouse, cool chain belt, and chocolate brown suede jacket in the other look. The jeans are very cool, but probably not the most flattering on my pear-shape. But if you have a different body type, and want some trendy jeans with a hint of a barrel silhouette, these would work great on you!

Again, if you’re in Bay Area, stop by Bloomingdale’s at Valley Fair and meet Leslie and check out the BA&SH collection! And if not, all the shopping links are included above.

Also on the blog lately, keeping at cool and casual and the best new sneakers for spring.

Let’s keep in touch. Let’s follow each other on Instagram!

About the blog: Fashion Should Be Fun is me talking to you, other middle aged women like me who are over 40, but not over fashion.  We still want to look beautiful and stylish.  We still want to have fun with trends.  And we don’t need anyone giving us rules, because we’re all different. We all have our own shapes and bodies, parts we’d like to cover and parts we still don’t mind showing off a bit.  This is a place for me to share my love of fashion with you, style ideas, tips, trends, and inspiration. I know how liking the way we look can translate into confidence and energy. I know we have so much life left to live and so much adventure ahead of us. Let’s show the world you’re never too old to have fun and be fierce!
