Are you a fan of the classic twinset, a cardigan with a matching shell? First appearing in the 1930’s, the twin set (or sweater set) is now a classic hard-working basic.

When I first started teaching and was low on funds, I had a burgundy sweater set that I wore all the time. Of course the magic of the set is that you can wear the pieces together and each piece separately as well.
This new sweater set from Chico’s (cardigan and tank) is a winner as far as I’m concerned (c/o). I love that the cardigan is longer, which is very flattering on many figures! It’s available in a variety of colors and in California, it’s just about seasonless.
Also wearing my Chico’s Secret Stretch Pull-On Bootcut Pants. Super slimming! I also wore them in NY. Note: I’m wearing the long length and am 5’7″ and wearing 4 inch heels. c/o)
The handbag is a classic leather tote from Rebecca Minkoff. It’s roomy and goes with everything … win/win!
And if you’re thinking of putting a new scarf in our arsenal this season, I think you can’t go wrong with a leopard one! This one is from Chico’s, but is currently sold out. Here’s a similar one.
Coming soon on the blog, crazy cute sneakers and holiday dressing over 50.
In case you missed it, I got such an overwhelmingly positive response to this outfit!
