Laurence and Chico FW 2019

Laurence Li and Chico Wang serve their fashion hot and with a side of humor and a big dollop of playfulness!

Laurence and Chico are known for their whimsical ready-to-wear collections and super fun runway shows at New York Fashion Week. I was disappointed to have to miss this show last season and was very excited to see it this time around. It was my first show of this NYFW trip and what a way to start my adventure with a bang!

Yes the styling was wild and fun! But just look at actual pieces and you’ll see many items are actually quite wearable. Okay, the yellow look maybe not so much! But look at this lush sweater and midi skirt, the tweed suit, the striped pussy bow blouse and pencil skirt … I have room in my closet for all those pieces!

Always a treat to see Ms. Jay Alexander at a show!

These last few photos are my own snaps from the show. Even though not nearly as good as the professional photos, I always like to share a couple of my own shots when I can.

Also on a personal note, it was outside the Laurence and Chico show that a photographer took the photo of me in my wild Bianca coat that got me featured in StyleCaster’s Must See Street Style Looks!
