All Black & Fun Fashion Friday Link Up!

Hello, all!  I thought for today, I would do an outfit post from New York Fashion Week.  Actually, two outfits, but both are monochromatic black and I thought they would go well in a post together, all the pieces could be mixed and matched.

At New York Fashion Week

In this look, I’m wearing a cold shoulder top from Nordstrom and some Maison Margeila pants that I bought on consignment.

And in this look, I’m wearing my Hudson raw edge cropped flare jeans from Nordstrom with a sheer top with bell sleeves that I bought on consignment.  I think either blouse would work with either pant.

With the holidays right around the corner, it’s nice having some basic black pieces to mix and match for parties.  All black always looks chic and classy.  And you can have fun adding accessories to give the look a more special vibe.

Of course this was NYFW, not a party, so I had to think practical as well. These Steve Madden cage sandals are surprisingly comfortable.  And my Marc Jacobs bag saved the day by being both classy and practical.  It’s big enough to hold EVERYTHING, even my good camera. (This bag ended up being a really great investment piece.)
