One day when I was wearing some skinny jeans for a day of teaching, I looked around and realized that ALL my kids were wearing wide jeans baggy jeans. And frankly, I felt like a bit of a dinosaur! I guess teaching high school does keep me young in some ways (and makes me feel ancient in others). Anyway, later that day I was picking up make-up wipes at Target and couldn’t help but trying on these jeans and loving them!

Here I styled them with my favorite blazer (yes, THAT blazer … AGAIN!), an Everlane bodysuit, and my Converse sneakers. In the last photo, I ditched the blazer for a more laid back vibe with a new flannel shirt, also a Target purchase that I love!

Are you a fan of this trend? I’m really enjoying it and gosh-darn-it if the baggy look isn’t super comfy! But don’t get me wrong, I’ll still be wearing my skinny jeans and my favorite mid-rise bootcut jeans as well. I think there’s room for many denim silhouettes in a wardrobe.
