On Day Two of New York Fashion Week, Cathy (Bay Area Fashionista) and I wore our chic JD Williams looks!
We were lucky enough to run into our favorite street photographer Denton Taylor who took this wonderful pic!
The Outfit – JD Williams
You’ve seen me rocking some JD Williams styles before, like this fabulous velvet dress and these sharp suit separates. This time around I’m wearing these fun pearl embellished jeans, on trend and super comfortable. I got so many compliments on them standing in line for the shows! I paired the jeans with this off-the-shoulder Bardot sweater. I love how cozy it feels even with bare shoulders. Of course comfortable shoes are a NYFW must and these gray leather booties were perfect and this roomy gray tote bag held everything, even my big camera. I topped off the look with this warm check coat. I know I’ll be wearing this a lot the rest of the winter (and next fall too). The pretty statement necklace and pink and silver beanie are also from JD Williams. Seriously, they have great quality pieces for such a good value! Plus you can get 40% off all regularly priced merchandise with the code Dawn40. (If you ever have any trouble with coupon codes I give you, please just let me know!)

This post is a collaboration with JD Williams. All opinions are all my own as always.
Just in XX
My first show of the day was one of my favorite. I loved the Just in XX vibe … funky athleisure with an Asain flair, berets with braids, and lots of cherry tomato red! Check out Just in XX.
Lunch – Celebrating National Pizza Day
Not that it took a lot of urging to get us to indulge in some pizza, but you know, it WAS National Pizza Day so we really couldn’t resist.
Concept Korea
The Concept Korea NYFW show features fun and funky Korean designers. Greedilous showed bold plaids, wild hair, and Keewpie doll lips. The Lie Collection had a variety of chic looks, but I was particularly drawn to the rainbow theme.
Blogger Coffee & Chit Chat
It’s no secret that one of my favorite parts of fashion week is catching up with my blogger buddies. Blogging creates friendships from all over the world, and during NYFW, a lot of us are gathered here to celebrate fashion. I made sure to make time for coffee with the totally fun and fabulous Jamie of More Than Turquoise. I sure wish she lived closer!
Flying Solo
Next up Cathy and I ubered to Chelsea Piers to check out Flying Solo, a showcase of emerging designers. The show was so full of looks that the models walked together in twos, playing off each other’s energy. It was an entertaining show with a lot of eye-catching looks from many different designers. Check out their website.
After the show, Cathy and I decided we should probably eat something other than Italian food again, so we went for Japanese. We shared stories of our day over a huge platter of sushi!
That was the end of Day 2. Did you catch the Day 1 recap? And the review of the Son Jung Wan show? Also the Day 3 recap is coming soon!
As always, thanks for being a part of my fashion adventure. Your support means the world to me.
And don’t forget to link up!

Dawn Lucy, you look fabulous! I love your outfit so much. And how much fun for you. I hope you didn’t get too exhausted though! I had the opportunity to write some commentary on a few runway shows myself…except I watched the NYFW live feed from home in my jammies! Ha. I am going to share a post week linking to my reviews. But they can be found over on a website called Gorgeous Girl! It was so much fun…I actually really love writing the reviews. Thanks for sharing your experience and have a great weekend!

Have I mentioned recently how envious I am of your Fashion Week adventures, dearest Dawn?! ? Checking out the newest trends and ideas from all kinds of talented designers (and hitting the town with fellow bloggers!) sounds like a fashionista’s idea of heaven on earth!! One day I’m sure I’ll be right there with you…but in the meantime, I’m so happy I get to experience it all vicariously through you!! XOXO
Love the grey off the shoulder sweater! Definitely fashionable and so cozy for winter in NY! You look so great in grey.
