One day on my spring break, I met up with the fabulous Bay Area Fashionista, Cathy. We met for lunch, shopping, and chit chat at Valley Fair mall in San Jose.

I wish that Cathy and I had gotten some cute photos together. We did have the waitress at Stick & Wok take a quick pic, but it was not good! LOL. However, the food and the service there are wonderful and we both highly recommend!
I was really happy with my outfit. I didn’t have anything new to wear, so I decided to mix and match old favorites and I was really pleased with how it turned out. I decided to pull out a classic structured blazer from Lafayette 148 NY (the exact one is no longer available, but this one is perfect & this one is a steal.) I wore the jacket over a simple fitted black tee, and decided to belt it with this leather woven Lands End belt. I love this exact belt, because you can wear it so many ways and can make it different sizes.
With the blazer, I’m wearing my Ruti Ultimate Barrel Jeans, a cool pair that updates any look. And they’re surprisingly comfortable and flattering. I’m also wearing stretch leather booties and carrying my pretty woven leather satchel bag. A silver chain necklace and simple silver hoops finish off the look.
Here is a full review of the Ruti jeans, the stretch boots, and the woven tote. Here is an old outfit with the exact same blazer (2018), showing that a beautifully-made classic piece really can last you for years.
