Valentine’s Day celebrates love in all forms, and please don’t forget your most important special someone, yourself! Here are few ideas of ways to celebrate yourself this week!
Here are a list of ideas of nice things you could do for yourself:
1. Drive to the park or the beach and do some journal writing.
2. Treat yourself to a fancy coffee and a decadent pastry.
3. Take a long lunch hour and treat yourself to a fancy lunch.
4. A mani/pedi is always a good idea.
5. Give yourself a spa day.
6. Order your favorite guilty take-out and stay home and watch your favorite guilty pleasure TV show. No guilt allowed!
7. Create a vision board, with photos of things that symbolize your wishes and dreams for the future. You can do this the old school way with a poster board and magazines or go new school with a digital version, on Pinterest or Instagram.
8. Grab a book you’ve been meaning to read and curl up for a cozy day of tea, cookies, and reading.
9. Take a nap.
10.And I’ve included some tangible treats here if you feel like buying yourself something extra nice:
Most importantly, enjoy yourself and say all the nice things to yourself that you deserve to hear!

My eye keeps being drawn to outfits on Instagram and Pinterest that are pairing black and white stripes with camel. It just looks so polished and chic to me.
Today’s outfit definitely won’t be for everyone, but the style advice behind it will be. Ladies, what HAVEN’T you worn yet this winter?
Winter is still here, but starting to wind down. What winter favorites have you forgotten about so far? I challenge you to find those things in the corners of the closet and let them out to play!
Now is the perfect time to find fabulous winter gear on sale! The markdowns are impressive and you still have enough winter left to enjoy the pieces before you have to put them away until next year.
Here’s is my completely random list of winter items on sale that caught my eye. Honestly, I haven’t personally been shopping the winter sales lately, because I’ve been spending my time and money on vacation shopping! But now that I pretty much have that wardrobe figured out, it’s time for me to see what there is to see on the sales racks right now.

Vacation shopping might have me dreaming about warm weather, but we’re still solidly in winter. And since California this winter is extra cold and wet, I’m really enjoying this cozy Aztec pink and grey coat, a fabulous Christmas gift from my friend Lynn!
Part of the joy of vacation for me is deciding what to wear, and shopping for some new pieces to make the trip even more special.
Soon, we’re on our way somewhere warm. Any guesses where? It’s been rainy and chilly in San Jose lately and we’re looking forward to a change of temperature and a chance to explore someplace new!

Some of my favorite jeans are from Chico’s. I especially love their Super Soft Girlfriend Jean. Even though wider leg jeans are in style now, I believe that skinny jeans are now a classic and every women needs at least one good pair in her closet. When it’s stretchy, soft, and comfortable, thats a win, win, win all around!
