Last week, we discussed the color of the year, Ultra Violet. This week I’m wearing a slightly different and personally more flattering shade of violet, more of a fuchsia, or for those who follow color trends … more of a “Radiant Orchid” or “Spring Crocus.”
Everything about this pic reminds me of growing up in California in the 70’s I think I spent a lot of the early 70’s in a poncho knit by my grandma that looked a lot like this bold striped chunky sweater. And I know I spend hours of every summer at the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk.
It’s been “weekend vibes” all week around here … yay for my spring break! The weather has been a bit chilly, but that’s okay because I have this cute embroidered sweatshirt to wear!
Part of the fun of vacation is shopping for souvenirs, at least it is for me (I think my husband might disagree). In the past, I’ve brought home my share of clothing and jewelry that I never end up wearing, so I’ve learned the hard way what to buy and what to pass by.
