Love the cool uneven hemline and the on trend Ikat print in ocean blues and spring greens.
This fab skirt even has a little half slip built in.
(This is the same embarrassed smile I had in most of my childhood pictures. Gee, I could’ve saved this shot for the backyard, right?)
I have a feeling I’m going to be spending a lot of time this spring in this pretty Embroidered Scalloped Hem Top with such lovely detail around the neckline and the hem. I love the 3/4 length sleeve and lightweight soft fabric. Check out the top in beautiful Sea Mist and Sunset Coral too.
A big thank you to Chadwicks for sending me this lovely outfit to review!
Lately I’ve seen several bloggers wearing spring/summer dresses as winter garb and looking quite adorable! So I felt inspired to try the trick myself. Here’s my pretty eShakti birdcage dress styled last summer on the left and for winter on the right.
I have to admit that I was a little skeptical at first. but I really like the way my outfit turned out. I added a turtleneck with boots and tights for warmth. I think it’s a good look for teaching … comfy and modest. And I even noticed that eShakti still has this dress and it’s on sale.
(Actually lots of great sales right now at eShakti!)
If you’re excited to shop for spring but are still having winter weather, this would be a fun way to rationalize a new dress … style it for winter now and spring later!
(You can always count on me for an excuse to shop!)
