Getting Lucky & Fun Fashion Friday Link Up!

March 5, 2015

Look out, Dolls, I’m on a winning streak!   Check out this Topshop plaid blanket scarf I won from a More Pieces of Me giveaway. Thanks, Caryl! In December I won a fab LEL sweater from Gracey’s Fashion for Giants (post here). Not sure if two wins in three months qualifies as a lucky streak, but I’m going to assume it does and get ready for my next prize.  Hey, a little positive thinking never hurt anyone!
I never did get around to buying a blanket scarf, so I was excited to win one!  Super cozy!

Outfit details & shopping ideas:

Plaid Blanket Scarf – Topshop (Plaid scarf bargains!)
Handbag – Michael Kors
Denim Jacket – Lucky Brand – (Cute option from Levi’s)
Riding boots – Nine West (great option)
Jeans – Gap Always Skinny
Sunnies – Ralph Lauren

I always dress cute to sit in my backyard and read Vogue.
Don’t you?!

Now on to your fab looks from last week’s link up ….

Lea of High Heeled Style is also on a winning streak!  Love this Karina dress she won from Not Dead Yet Style!  Karina should hire her to model, don’t you think? FAB!
Check out this adorable dress here.

When I saw this outfit that Maricel of My Closet Catalogue shared, I wrote and told her that I wanted to wear this outfit this weekend! It’s true!  Funky, casual, and fun!

And thanks to Adrienne of The Rich Life on a Budget for sharing this sophisticated and classy look.

Time to link up!  Don’t forget to link back! Always excited to see all your great looks of the week!

Wild booties are an easy way to add some pizazz to an otherwise simple outfit.  Let the boots be the star!
I’ve had these zebra Steve Madden boots forever and they’re no longer available, but check out these fab booties …

Wouldn’t any of these beauties add a little attitude to an outfit?
Reminder #1
It’s time again for another fabulous edition of Adrienne’s and Jill’s “How I Wear My” series and this month’s theme is booties!

Covered Perfectly Review

February 16, 2015

Covered Perfectly is company founded by Pauline Durban who has created a brand dedicated to designing flattering clothing for women over forty.

I’m modeling the Wrap Over blouse in super soft, comfortable MicroModal fabric, with a touch of Spandex … very flattering and forgiving if you need to hide your Valentine’s Day chocolate indulgence (guilty!). Check out the whole MicroModal collection here. I picked this pretty neutral, “malt,” and there are many other beautiful shades to choose from.

The brand also has some beautiful wraps and vests!

Covered Perfectly has a great selection of pretty things for my curvier readers too… check out Covered Perfectly Plus Sizes.

This brand is made in America with free shipping within the US (prices for international shipping on website).

Outfit details: beautiful blouse – Covered Perfectly, hyper-stretch skinny pants – Royalty for Me, red patent leather heels – BCBG, snakeskin cloth – vintage, sunglasses – Ralph Lauren, necklace – Zara

Need an excuse to shop?  How about a 20% discount?!  My readers use the code FSBF20.

Isn’t it nice to find a new place to shop that caters to our more mature bodies and sophisticated sense of fashion?  Be sure to check out the selection at Covered Perfectly and don’t forget to read Pauline Durban’s inspirational story.
