The first time I ever heard of Restoration Hardware a friend wanted to take me and I was so grumpy because I hate hardware stores. Ha! But of course it’s much more than a hardware store and it was so fun to explore.
When my husband and I married, we treated ourselves to a RH bedroom set that I still totally adore. So I’m a bit of a fan.
And of course most importantly, because this is a style blog, this is what I wore!!
Appleseed’s is the perfect place to find all the classic wardrobe staples that you need this spring. Just look at this adorable spring look, created with all quality pieces from Appleseed’s! Each piece is versatile enough to wear many other ways, and together it’s the perfect spring look for a coffee date and a day of teaching for me. Wouldn’t it be a great spring outfit for work, a lunch date, or a day of shopping?

Do you have a go-to look that you reach for again and again? For me that has to be bootcut jeans with a black turtleneck sweater. I think it’s flattering on me and it’s warm. It pretty much goes anywhere!
When things are busy or I’m just not feeling experimental, I turn to this look again and again.
One of my most popular posts every year is my list of the best holiday dresses for women over 40. After a mellow holiday season last year, this year I’m ready to party and drooling over all the pretty choices!
Friends, I’ve had my eye on this blazer for awhile. Sure I have two plaid blazers, one unstructured and one vintage, but this … THIS .. is the perfect blazer! Everlane does it again, mixing a classic basic with a modern sense of cool.
On the weekends, I’ve been living in these Everlane Super-Soft Relaxed Jeans! I never thought I’d love a pair of jeans without stretch, but these are sooo soft and broken in that they’re super comfortable, not to mention cool. I’m wearing the Distressed Indigo version, but if holes at the knees aren’t your thing, there are un-distressed versions in Light Vintage blue and versatile Bone.
Everlane gifted me these jeans at my request. All opinions are all my own.
