The Fab 40’s in Floral!

March 28, 2016

Welcome to this month’s edition of The Fab 40’s!

This month it was my turn to choose the theme and I’ve been crushing on florals lately.

wearing a floral maxi dress over 40

fashion over forty

I have spring fever!  Or was that a hot flash? Either way, bring on the cool comfy ease of maxi dresses blowing in the breeze!

spring trends, style trends over forty

I wanted to try to mix my florals. It was a trickier feat than I imagined, but I like this pink and white floral with the busier vintage floral bag.

I also tried wearing the rose in my hair but it just looked silly.  Anyone have tips for pulling off that look?  Maybe you need to be on vacation to get away with it?

I always have the greatest of admiration for anyone who can pull off a head-to-toe floral look, which you do, beautifully. That pink is so pretty and the rose, the loveliest finishing touch 🙂

OH my goodness, this dress is so cute! Actually all of your picks are great! I'm fairly certain that the rose behind the ear is definitely a vacation thing, although no one would know if you were on vacation or not taking this picture 🙂 Stopping by from your feature on Curly Crafty Mom.
