This is the time of the year when all the spring trends start hitting the stores and the magazines, and yet for most of us, it’s still chilly and will be for awhile. Crochet is going to be big for spring 2019 and here’s my take on wearing the trend on a cool day.
I layered a white crochet knit sweater over a basic long sleeve t-shirt. Along with a crochet sweater, I’m wearing a few of my ride or die pieces lately: this Botkier leather tote, my plaid booties, and crop flare Frame jeans (on major sale!), and my fav moto jacket. I can’t say enough about these pieces really … they’re all my favorites.
Also I treated myself to some new sunglasses. I had picked out a pair of Dior sunglasses from Bloomingdale’s online and they were super pretty, but … you know how you put something on and it just doesn’t feel right? I think the shape just wasn’t the best for my face. I took them back and exchanged them for these Prada sunglasses which I am loving. I love big chunky sunglasses and these are right up my alley. Available in a warmer tone, or this gray/brown leopard/tortoise look.
