There’s nothing quite as fabulous as going on vacation, yet trying to decide what to pack can be a headache. It’s your vacation and you want to look amazing … but you also don’t want to lug around three suitcases. Have you tried packing a capsule wardrobe for a trip? I took some of my favorite Chico’s mix and match pieces and created a travel capsule wardrobe to keep you looking chic every single day of your trip!
Dressed for a chic lunch or a trip to the museum.
I actually had too many outfits to fit into this collage!

Need a great gift for Mom? Or for yourself? Foxcroft has got you covered with a Mother’s Day Shop chock-full of fresh spring styles! On top of that, you can enter to win a $200 Foxcroft shopping spree!
And did you know Foxcroft not only makes their famous no-iron crisp button down shirts, but also lots of other stylish pieces? How pretty is this Kim Open Texture Sweater?
I’m excited to introduce my readers to a designer I’m just loving. Have you heard of Ruti? I got the very special treat of visiting the Ruti designer store in Palo Alto and … wow, I really vibe with this designer! Everything is made for the grown-up cool girl, and that’s just who I am! (Or who I think I am, anyway!)
Sometimes just the right statement piece makes the outfit … and in this case, I think two statement pieces did the trick! Starting with some black basics, I added this Lafayette 148 NY Topper and Hester Van Eeghen clutch for a sharp city chic look.
I love the name of Chico’s chic athleisure collection, Zenergy! Isn’t that what we all want … the perfect blend of Zen and Energy?! Chico’s latest Zenergy offerings are just right for winter-to-spring athleisure, perfectly comfortable for activity … or inactivity!

This is the time of the year when all the spring trends start hitting the stores and the magazines, and yet for most of us, it’s still chilly and will be for awhile. Crochet is going to be big for spring 2019 and here’s my take on wearing the trend on a cool day.
One of my favorite things to do is to go out for coffee, especially when there are pastries involved. AND especially when I have time to relax a bit, either chat with a buddy in person or interact on social media with my friends from all over the world!
I made sure to take a little coffee break to myself over my 2 weeks off from teaching. Here’s what I wore, and even though it’s a great out-to-coffee look, it’s also a perfect casual work look and I’m sure I’ll be wearing this head to toe for teaching one of these cold days (edited to add: wearing it today!).
