I love the brand, NYDJ, because they have always been committed to designing timeless and comfortable pieces that give women of every shape, size, and age a confident look!
Right now, NYDJ is partnering with the CBS Original Series, Matlock, to bring a capsule collection aimed at celebrating smart and capable women at work. In the show, the inspirational main character, Matty (played by the amazing Kathy Bates), is a smart and confident woman in her 70’s. An inspiration! Tune in to the new season of Matlock, starting October 12, to see some NYDJ pieces make cameo appearances!
I don’t work in a courtroom or law office, but as a high school English teacher, I aim to look polished and comfortable at work. NYDJ let me pick an outfit to share with you and here’s what I picked!
First of all I picked the Fiona Trouser Pants. These pants look so chic and polished. With a moderate wide leg, a center crease, and a high rise, these professional trousers will make your legs look so long! The curve-sculpting ponte knit is soft and comfortable, making this pair of pants a new regular in the work rotation. Size down one size. I’m usually a 10 and I’m wearing an 8.
I also picked the NYDJ classic, the Pintuck Blouse. The drape on this blouse is beautiful, soft and flattering. Available in many colors and prints, but I couldn’t resist this lovely pink and red floral with a black background, called Vivienne. To make it even more special, the NYDJ Pintuck Blouse is made with sustainable polyester, created from post-consumer plastic waste. I love a purchase I can feel really good about! I’m wearing a Medium which is my regular size.
